Event Details:

For the ninth time, a six-foot diameter 250 lb. ball made of real popcorn was lowered from a 50’ high flagpole in the center of town. Along with drop, at the stroke of midnight, over 200 edible popcorn balls were launched into the crowd using custom-built air-powered popcorn cannons. Program music and speeches preceded the drop, and post-drop dance music made for a lively street party. A compact distributed QSC rig provided sound for a crowd of about 2,000 revelers.
