Show Details:

Staged in an intimate, 200-capacity venue, the sound design for the New York production of Women in Black was adapted from the West End production in the U.K., where the show has spooked audiences for more than 30 years. Along with the 450-capacity Fortune theatre, performances of Women in Black in the U.K. have been staged in a variety of tour venues ranging from 800 to 1,200 seats. Director Robert Herford was keen to have sound designer Sebastian Frost adhere closely to the sound design of the original show, including his request to use many of the original production’s decades-old sound effects preserved on ReVox units.
