STANDON, U.K. – The 2019 Standon Calling music festival welcomed 15,000 attendees to the Hertfordshire countryside July 25-28 with Nile Rodgers & Chic, Rag‘n’Bone Man and others. Adamson Systems’ U.K. distributor, The Warehouse Sound Services Ltd, provided Adamson E15 line arrays, E119 subs and ground-stacked S10 line arrays for the main stage.

Other acts at this year’s multi-stage event, held for the 14th time since it was founded in 2001, included Friendly Fires, Echo & The Bunnymen, Róisín Murphy, IDLES, Lewis Capaldi, Mahalia, Kate Nash, The Big Moon, Steam Down, The Japanese House, Band Of Skulls, The Joy Formidable, Sea Girls, Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, Warmduscher and others.
The Adamson E15 line array loudspeakers, E119 Subwoofers and additional ground stacked S10 line array loudspeakers on the sides were all powered by Lab.gruppen PLM 20K44 amplifiers running Lake Processing.
Front fill was covered with new Adamson Milan-ready CS7p point source loudspeakers. The new CS-Series is the world’s first family of mobile loudspeakers to feature onboard Class-D amplification, DSP, and Milan-ready (AVB) network endpoints.
Systems engineer Aidan Thomson from The Warehouse created the system design and provided support as systems engineer.
“The bar is high in terms of what people expect sonically at festivals, the Adamson systems are truly scalability and we received some favorable comments from several visiting engineers who really enjoyed using the system on the main stage,” Thomson said.
