Event Details
National University divided its commencement ceremonies into Northern and Southern events. The Southern ceremony, held May 19 in San Diego’s Petco Park, home of the Padres, featured Peter Seidler, the Padres’ general partner, as a commencement speaker. The Northern ceremony took place at San Jose’s McEnery Convention Center. National University, established in 1971, has close to 24,000 students who attend classes, many of which cater to the needs of working adults, with classes scheduled on evenings, and weekends and online.
