After a relatively short yet successful stint in the IT industry, Wright brings a host of transferrable skills with him back to professional audio – which he describes as his “…primary focus and passion.”
Wright has years of freelance audio consultancy and monitor engineering experience under his belt, which along with his first class degree in Sound Engineering and Production from Birmingham City University continue to fuel that passion for audio. “Audient has a fantastic audio heritage, with the sale of well over 500 ASP8024 consoles over the last 17 years being a solid testament to that.” Wright continues, “The latest products still maintain that outstanding build and sound quality, and I am delighted to be working with Audient at such a progressive time. I look forward to building relationships with UK customers old and new, and helping them discover what Audient has to offer.”
Based in Shropshire, Wright is at the forefront of sales and support in the UK, and will be out and about meeting the dealers around the country in the very near future. In the meantime to contact him ‘virtually’, either give him a call on his mobile: +44 7917 190609 or drop him an email: chris.wright@audient.com.
Audient is also celebrating Andy Allen’s appointment as Marketing Manager, whose promotion within the company follows a strong period of growth. “These new staff appointments coincide with increased investment in product development,” says Allen. “Audient’s new generation of compact products – starting with the USB interface, iD22 and the 8-channel mic pre and ADC, ASP880 – embraces innovation, and heralds new and exciting times for the company.”
Gareth Williams and Luke Baldry have both moved on to pastures new, and Audient wishes them all the best in their new (ad)ventures!
