Share this Post:

RCF continues to expand their TT Series of theater and touring cabinets with the addition of the TTP5-A active 15” two-way point source array module. RCF says they are engineered to deliver both performance and output needed for use in both indoor and outdoor spaces ranging from medium-small theaters to large outdoor stadiums and public spaces.

More details from RCF (www.rcf.it):

The system is designed to create horizontal and vertical arrays with a constant curvature offering a coverage pattern of 22.5-degrees horizontal by 60-degrees vertical. The two-way design features newly designed RCF Precision 15” neodymium woofer with 4” voice coil coupled with RCF Precision 2” titanium dome neodymium compression driver with 4” voice coil. Powered by 1600 watt digital amplifier (1100 watt RMS to low frequency and 500 watt RMS to high frequency) and advanced digital processing setting a new standard for distortion, noise and thermal efficiency providing a max SPL output of 138 dB with a frequency response of 45Hz-20kHz (+/-3dB).

The 96 kHz, 32-bit digital processing offers both thermal and RMS protection, as well as soft limiter and dynamic limiting. Control features include gain reduction, time delay, presets (linear, close, far listening, high-pass); along with RCF’s RDNet control. RDNet is RCF’s RS-485 based proprietary protocol allowing for monitoring of all system components and control of system parameters.

The Baltic birch plywood cabinets feature all cluster mechanics necessary to fly either vertically or horizontally. Also included are four handle locations and pole mount cup. Physical specifications: 38.8”x18.03”x25.43” and weighing 145 pounds.
