SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — Que Audio has re-introduced the popular DA12 headworn microphone (now in its Performance Series, and formerly branded under the Da-Cappo name) with a twist: Besides an improved streamlined appearance, the new model adds significant enhancements over its predecessor, made possible through technological advancements in materials and manufacturing.
The ear cushion on the DA12 has been tapered slightly in all the right places for superior comfort and hold on either ear, while an improved, high-density moveable boom-arm allows for greater flexibility and improved positioning for better performance. Additionally, new extra heavy-duty “stretch” 1.8-meter cable made with materials from an advanced thermoplastic process provides heightened reliability.
The Sound Remains The Same
The trusted, highly intelligible, full-frequency, superlative audio quality is delivered from the same 2.5mm European omnidirectional condenser capsule used on the DA12 since 2008. Specs include a 20 Hz to 20k Hz response, 140dB max SPL handling, 1.5 to 12 VDC operating voltage and a 2k ohm output impedance.

The DA12 is available in beige or black, in both a standard size as well as the widely used petite “child” models.
High quality adapters for more wireless beltpacks including Shure, Sennheiser, A-T, AKG, Lectrosonics, E-V and more are offered. And for hard-wired applications, the DA12 can be directly phantom powered via the Que Audio’s QAD3 XLR adapter. The package includes the DA12 Headworn Microphone, cable clip, 1.8-meter cable, two windscreens and a protective zip-pouch.
