WICHITA, KS — Galaxy Audio, which is marking its 35th year in 2012, also named Yule Jabara, pictured here, as its Chief Executive Officer. Yule Jabara is taking over in the role previously held by Brock Jabara, his father, who invented the Hot Spot over 40 years ago and founded the company five years later.

Galaxy Audio, which calls its Hot Spot “the original compact personal monitor,” has been in business making the devices since 1977.  The company has since expanded with wireless personal monitors, wireless microphones and lightweight headsets.

Prior to being named CEO, Yule Jabara served as Galaxy Audio’s national sales manager for the last 12 years. In that role, he worked to expand Galaxy Audio’s family of products and bring the company’s sales to new levels.

“It is a pleasure to fill my father’s shoes,” Yule Jabara said. “Brock has built a great foundation for me to work with. I am excited to take Galaxy Audio to the next level and continue to support our dealer network.”
