Precise Corporate Staging Promotes Dan Arends, Adds Dash Cooper to Growing Staff

TEMPE, AZ – Precise Corporate Staging promoted Dan Arends from director of operations to national director of sales, a new position. The company also added musician and band founder Dash Cooper as digital media marketing manager.

In his new post, Arends will oversee all advertising and marketing initiatives for the company along with business development and management of key customer relationships.

“Dan has more than two decades of experience and truly understands the needs and demands of our fast paced industry,” said David Stern, president of Precise Corporate Staging. “His extensive experience is a great resource for our team, our partners as well as our clients. We’re delighted to have him on board.”

Arends began his career in 1991 with Presentation Services Audio Visual (PSAV), becoming the regional trainer of hired technicians. He then began his own business venture, Arends Production Group. Accruing $1 million in sales, Arends sold his company to Precise Corporate Staging in 2007 and becoming part of the PCS team.

Arends also worked as the director of entertainment services at PRO EM, an event management company in Phoenix area, working with clients such as the Phoenix Suns, NASCAR, the Arizona Diamondbacks, and events such as the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the Super Bowl and the NFL Commissioner’s party.

“Precise Corporate Staging is a growth-oriented company that I’m excited to be part of,” said Arends. Stern noted that, since it got its start in 2000 with eight full-time employees, the company has added 10 full-time positions as of Oct. 2011.

A recent new hire is Dash Cooper, a musician and founder of Runaway Phoenix, a band that has performed in front of crowds totaling as many as 75,000 people. He joins Precise Corporate Staging as digital media and marketing manager.

coverage of a recent company gig, Phooson 2011. The show was held at U.S. Airways Center on Dec. 2, 2011 and featured One Republic, Selena Gomez, Flo Rida and Gym Class Heroes. Cooper posted news, photos and videos relating to the event on Twitter and Facebook.

Along with his experience as a musician and band founder, Cooper worked as a sales consultant at Airpark Chrysler Jeep from 2004 to 2005 and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in communications.
