More details from Stages Consultants (http://www.stagesconsultants.com):

Stages Consultants will offer full-service consulting in acoustics and theatre design. By choosing to work with a small number of clients at a time, their goal is to combine the benefits of a small firm with the leadership, design and judgment skills of an experienced practice.

Alec Stoll leads the theatre design consulting practice, which will provide building programming, theatre and space planning, auditorium design and stage equipment specification. Stoll’s career as a senior consultant for both Fisher Dachs Associates and Charles Cosler Theatre Design in New York equipped him with the varied skills of a true theatre consulting generalist on small scale to international world-class projects. He is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants and serves on the board of directors of the League of Historic American Theatres.

Damian Doria leads Stages’ acoustical consulting practice, which will include noise and vibration control and room acoustical design as well as full A/V systems design and specification. Doria’s career has encompassed an equally wide range of projects. During his 17 years with Artec Consultants Inc, in New York, he held many titles including President, Partner, Principal Auditorium Designer and Principal Accoustician, while leading or overseeing the planning and design of many internationally renowned performance venues. He is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America and member of Tau Beta Pi and the Order of the Engineer.
