Sennheiser's K-array KB1 is the first in the new Blueline series of K-array loudspeakers. As with items in the extremely small footprint K-array RedLine series, the KB1 is an ultra-slim, powered line array system featuring a 12-inch sub-woofer and eight 3-inch drivers.
The 44-pound product, which can be used as a main stereo PA simply by adding a second system, can also be used for amplification of solo artist performances, or used as monitors.
The units come with their own carrying case and can be used right out of the box, on a plug-and-play basis. Alternately, users can connect a PC to the unit via an integrated USB connector to tweak advanced control and customization features.
The KB1 promises consistent SPLs, even at a distance, covering the listening area with great precision and uniformity.
The KB1 also features on-board digital processors and a digital four-input mixer so users can modify input levels, EQ parameters, add multi-effects, and compress and regulate output channels.
As with other K-array products, the KB1 is made with wood, steel and aluminum. A padded cover is included to protect the unit during transport.
