WOODLAND HILLS, CA – Midas and Klark Teknik announced changes to their North American distribution, with Midas Consoles North America now serving as a wholly-owned business unit of the Music Group, which owns the Midas and Klark Teknik brands.
Midas Consoles North Americas' Jay Easley, who has worked with the brands in the USA for 12 years, will continue to lead the customer support and service team for MKT products as associate VP customer support.
"Midas and Klark Teknik customers will have the reassurance of continuing to deal with their existing MKT representatives and dealers," Easley said, adding, "They will doubtless be delighted that we are taking this opportunity to become more price competitive in certain product areas, by returning margin to the end user."
Along with lower prices, the company's goals for implementing the new distribution model include improved accessibility to service, more focused product and specialist technical support, and a closer relationship between end user and manufacturer.

"We have been successfully running this model of MKT customer support in the UK for a number of years and its perfect timing to roll this out in North America."
