PUTNAM, CT – Rational Acoustics teamed up with Soundtools Oy, E&E and Wigwam Acoustics to provide Smaart sales, support and training for Finland, India, Singapore and the U.K. The appointments were made during the first quarter of 2011.
Soundtools Oy, under the guidance of industry veterans Antti Murto and Peter Stråhlman will now handle Smaart in Finland. Soundtools is the newly formed sister company to Finnish pro AV company, and former Smaart distributor, Studiotec.
In the UK, Wigwam Acoustics will now be handling all Smaart sales, support and training. Founded in 1979, Wigwam is one of the world's best-known sound companies for the rental, sales and installation of professional audio equipment.
Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd (E&E) will now be handling Smaart for the territories of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia with their branch office E&E India taking on Smaart distribution duties for India. E&E was founded in 1951 and just celebrated their 60th anniversary as the region's leading specialty AV contracting, consulting and distribution company.
