SUN VALLEY, CA – Aphex named Jonathan Parker, left, and Michael Hurwitz, right, national sales managers. Parker and Hurwitz will oversee the sales of existing Aphex professional audio and broadcast products, as well as the expansion of Aphex product lines into new and emerging markets.
Parker comes to Aphex after several years as sales director for Aviom, Inc. Prior to working with Aviom, he has held positions with Martin Audio, Playnetwork, Crown, Bose and TOA Electronics.
Hurwitz joins Aphex from his previous position as national sales manager with Earthworks microphones. He has also worked for Sirius Sales and Marketing, RW Fuday Associates, Leo's Pro Audio and Goodman Music.
Parker and Hurwitz will report to general manager Rick McClendon and CEO David Wiener. Parker will be based in the Atlanta area; Hurwitz will work from his offices in the San Francisco Bay Area.
